Making A Fashion Statement.....

When people think about fashion, I bet the first thing that comes to mind is runway styles and red carpet glitz and glam. But the runway isn't the only place where one could find people making fashion statements.

As I was walking out of a record store on Lincoln Avenue today, I couldn't help but notice a woman who was lighting up a cigarette with really cool style! So here goes "tristinstyling on Street Fashion" entry number one.

The first thing I noticed was her Kelly green socks that peeked out from under her dark denims which were nicely folded with big cuffs just above the ankle and how they brought out the light tints of green in her laces strung through her nicely worn in chucks. Up top she sported a hot pink sweater under a black hoodie with a funky knitted beanie that had sprinkles of plums and pinks in the chunky yarn and topped everything all off with what looked like a hemp woven mini messenger purse. She was sporting a really cool very short cut that she had just gotten done at Tiger lilie Salon.

Just got back from Arkansas Magic Springs.. It was fun... I gotta get back on schedule tho.. I got wet yesterday alot.... All that water and everything... But had fun ...Jerkin with some dudes in the parking lot... Acting crazy .... "ORANGE IN ORANGE OUT" My chant was awesome dude.. Watching The heat. rite now on Bet.. Shout Outs to... Mario.. Wat up blogger?!?!? Im back from vaction and i hads some fun....The people in L.A. are awesome dude...The malls are big and it gave me more time to skateboard and stuff..I met the awesome skater boy named Jason..Talk about hot he cute and sweet..Anywayz for a week he gonna come and see me..Yay

Wayne goes rock

"This is going to be totally rock," Lil' Wayne responds during an interview that was leaked online last week. Seated in front of a soundboard at the Hit Factory in Miami, Wayne talked to Ozone Magazine's Julia Beverly while holding his electric guitar. Weezy stated that he did not yet have a title for the upcoming Rock album.

With his recent performance earlier this month at the Country Music Awards alongside Kid Rock, Lil' Wayne has showed his commitment to growing as an artist outside of Rap. When asked whether he felt as though he had accomplished everything he could in hip-hop, Weezy said, "I haven't accomplished everything I can accomplish, but I have accomplished a whole lot."

In the interview, Lil' Wayne also acknowledged that 2008 was a big year for him, because of the birth of his son. After being asked whether he was surprised about the industry's reaction to the new addition to his family, Wayne shrugged it off. "I don't even know how they reacted, I never pay attention to people's reactions...It's a kid, so who cares about what anybody thinks."
